Welcome to HomeTsk. By accessing or using our household organiser application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use HomeTsk. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

To use HomeTsk, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.

HomeTsk offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan).
• Payment: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.

You agree to use HomeTsk only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Upload or share content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the application.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the service.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.

HomeTsk allows you to create or join households where data such as tasks, bills, calendars, and chat messages are shared among household members. By adding members to your household, you acknowledge that they will have access to the shared data within that household. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent from household members before adding them.

All intellectual property rights in HomeTsk, including but not limited to the application, design, logos, and content created by us, remain the property of HomeTsk. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the app (e.g. tasks, notes, diary entries). By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Your use of HomeTsk is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

HomeTsk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any defects or errors will be corrected.
• The service will meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HomeTsk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms and Conditions or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will cease immediately.
• Your data will be retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted, unless required by law.
• Any outstanding charges will remain due and payable.

You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the app settings.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of HomeTsk after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
